Kinetic Dance Force is a national award-winning dance studio in Middletown, CT, where dancers ages 2½ through adult train in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro and more. With over 40 years of teaching experience and NYC-trained instructors, we pair serious technique with a loving, supportive dance family.

Our Competition Troupe has earned first place overall at both regional and national competitions, and our instructors — trained at premier New York City institutions and under renowned choreographers — have guided students on to dance in college and on Broadway. That expertise is matched by genuine warmth: KDF is a co-ed community where every dancer belongs.

We keep our own progression of levels — Toes & Taps, Level 1R, Level 2R, Teens and Adult — because that's how our families already think about classes. Every Kinetic Dance Force class is led by an experienced, passionate instructor committed to a positive, encouraging learning environment — with NYC training and decades of combined experience behind them.

Owner & Head Teacher

I grew up in Stafford Springs, CT, where I studied under Marjorie Serafin. I earned my associate's degree in dance from DEAN College, then went on to UCONN for Business. I have studied master dance classes in New York City at both Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway, and trained under Gregory Hines, Claire O'Donnell, Rhee and Renee Gold, Gus Giordano, Frank Hatchett and Roberta James, to name a few. I performed with the late Gregory Hines and on Crimson Cruise Lines during my college years.

Since the age of 15, I have been teaching and sharing my passion for dance. I am a very proud mom of 5 fantastic children, two of whom are accomplished dancers and teachers, Brailey and Chanse Williams, here at the studio. At 32 I opened my first school of dance. My goal is to provide quality dance technique, self-confidence, the skill of setting and accomplishing goals, a supportive community of peers and teachers, and strong friendships.

I provide students the opportunity to take master classes in NYC twice per dance season, and we attend many local dance conventions during the season. I have led my Competition Troupe to take home FIRST PLACE OVERALL in both regional and national competitions, and many of my students have gone on to major or minor in dance in college and to perform on Broadway and with companies throughout the states.

As the Owner and Head Teacher of Kinetic Dance Force, I hope to inspire all my students — past, present and future — to follow their hearts and dreams in dance and in all that they do.
